Southwestern closes regular season with fourth place finish

GEORGETOWN, Texas- Gusty winds challenged golfers on the final day of the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern University and the Pirates closed the tournament in fourth place. 

Valentina Olivieri and Katherine Dyo finished tied for 14th, finishing with 168 strokes. Paige Greenan was close behind with 169 strokes and tied for 17th overall. Leilani McDaniel posted a 172 and Mikayla Miller a 182 to round out Southwestern's team score. Individual Olivia Montreuil shot a 186 for the two rounds. 

The tournament marks the end of the regular season for Southwestern. They will next compete at the SCAC Championship in Blanco, Texas beginning on Monday, April 24th.
