GEORGETOWN, Texas - One round is in the books at the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern University at Berry Creek Country Club, and the Pirates finished the day in fourth place with a team score of 337. 

UT Tyler leads the field with a 316, Schreiner came in second at 331 and Mary Hardin-Baylor in third with 335 strokes. 

Valentina Olivieri-Puentes led SU with an 83 to finish the day tied for 10th. Leilani McDaniel posted an 84, Paige Greenan and Katherine Dyo an 85 and Mikayla Miller a 92. Olivia Montreuil competed as an individual and finished with a 95. 

Southwestern will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday to complete the tournament.
