SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Led by first-year Leilani McDaniel, Southwestern women's golf finished in third place overall at the Alamo City Classic Tuesday. 

McDaniel finished tied for fourth overall with 157 strokes (80-77) and trailed event champion Hanna Niner of Trinity by only four strokes. 

Valentina Olivieri was close behind in ninth place, posting a score of 159 (80-79) to round out the Pirates in the top ten. 

Southwestern returns to the course for one final time this fall to compete in the Abilene Intercollegiate beginning on Monday, October 24th.
