SANDESTIN, Fla. – Southwestern shot a 331 as a team in the third round to close out the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational Tuesday and finish in 13th place.
Bernice Leonard led the way in the tournament with a 241 (84-78-79) to finish tied for 30th place overall. Keeley Coburn finished tied for 50th with 248 strokes (81-82-85) and Valentina Olivieri was close behind in 55th place with 250 strokes (81-84-85). Mikayla Miller matched her round two score of 82 in the final round to end tied for 65th with 256 strokes (92-82-82) while Katherine Dyo finished with 258 strokes (87-85-86).
Southwestern has one more fall tournament, competing in the Alamo City Classic at The Quarry Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas October 19-20.
