GEORGETOWN, Texas - Southwestern outscored Dallas 32-7 in the third quarter to secure a 68-50 win in SCAC action. 

Southwestern actually trailed at halftime 20-17 but came out blazing in the second half to lead by ten with six minutes to go in the third. SU was never threatened down the stretch as UD was held to just 30 second half points. 

Madison Edwards led with 17 points while Zhazze Brown posted 15 and Cecily Woofolk 10. 

Southwestern improves to 8-14 on the year and 5-6 in the SCAC with the win. 

With two games to play Southwestern has shored up a post-season bid and will wait to see their seeding. By winning out SU has a slight chance at the fourth seed but are guaranteed at least a #5 seed in the tournament. 

The Pirates close home, regular season play on Saturday, facing Colorado College at 5:30 pm.
