GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern seniors Audrey Garcia and Brianna Turney led the team in scoring on Senior Night as the Pirates closed the regular season with a 74-50 loss to Texas Lutheran.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pirates held a three point lead, 18-15 after the first quarter but scored just four second quarter points to trail 32-22 at the half.
- Southwestern pulled within seven points on Renee Walker's three with 4:46 left in the third, but the Bulldogs closed the third quarter on a run and led by 15 heading into the fourth.
- Southwestern wasn't able to close the gap as TLU pulled away to arrive at the 74-50 final.
