THE GAME
Southwestern and UT Tyler meet for the first time this season and the third time in the history of the two programs. The first meeting came in 1977-78 season with UTT winning 87-60 and the second match-up was won by Southwestern 68-67 in 2007-08.

Bourne, the SCAC Defensive Player of the Year, will be a huge challenge for the Patriots averaging 12.8 rebounds per game. Not just a defensive powerhouse, Bourne averages 11.5 points per game and shots 50% from the field.
#22 Valerie Logan (SR | G | 5-3 | Kingwood, Texas | Kingwood HS)
Logan runs the show from the point position and easily handles the most aggressive defenses. She averages 4.7 assists per game but can also be a deadly offensive threat, shooting 38.5% form the floor and 32.2% from three point range.
