ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Southwestern University men's cross country team placed fourth overall at the 2016 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Old Settlers Park.
Joshua Im earned all-conference honors with a 14th-place finish. The first-year runner navigated the 8,000-meter course in a time of 27:40.77.
Ulises Castaneda turned in a 16th-place performance with a mark of 28:01.39.
The Pirates will prepare to compete in NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional, which is slated to take place Saturday, Nov. 12 in Mount Berry, Georgia.
