Pirates place fifth at UIW Invitational

LIVE OAK, Texas – The Southwestern men's cross country team finished fifth at the UIW Invitational at Live Oak City Park on Saturday morning.

Joshua Im paced the Pirates with a 22nd-place finish, as he navigated the 8,000-meter course in 26:34.4.

John Hattan placed 33rd with a time of 27:16.9.

The squad will return to action on Friday, Oct. 14, when it hosts the Southwestern Invitational at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown.
