LIVE OAK, Texas – The Southwestern University men's cross country team finished seventh at the 10th Annual UIW Fall Invitational on Saturday at Live Oak City Park.

Abraham Devenport paced the Pirates in the 8k event, circling the course in 28:15.6, which was good for 35th place.

Lucas Ford (52nd) and Elliott Foreman (55th) followed Devenport's lead. Ford crossed the line in 30:03.9, while Foreman finished in 30:19.8.

The Pirates will return home to host the Southwestern Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16. The race is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown.
