Cedar Park, Texas - The Southwestern University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed in the Concordia University Cross Country Invitational on October 13^th 2012. The men placed 4^th in the 5000 meter run with Sam Martinez coming in 6^th running at a pace of 5:14.2 finishing 16:16.38.

The Women's team placed 5^th with Lilly Duarte leading the way for Southwestern University. Lilly Placed 2^nd in the 5000 meter race coming in with a time of 18:53.72.

The next race will be October 27^th, 2012 in Dallas for the SCAC Championships.
