SAN ANTONIO – The Southwestern University men's track and field team competed in the Trinity Tiger Invitational on Friday.
The Pirates were led by Gregory McDade's sixth-place finish in the 400-meter dash. McDade crossed the line in 52.04.
Southwestern also placed three in the top-15 of the shot put.
Will Devine hurled the implement 11.09m in his first outing of the season to finish 12th, while Tyler Adams was one spot behind with a toss of 10.59m. David Hill also placed 15th with a heave of 10.05m.
The Pirates will return to San Antonio next Friday to compete in the UIW Invitational.
