Southwestern competes at Marc Randle Classic on Friday

BULLARD, Texas – The Southwestern men's track and field team competed in the Marc Randle Classic, hosted by Texas-Tyler, on Friday.

The Pirates earned seven top-10 finishes on the day.

Ryan Pace led the way with a fourth-place performance in the 110-meter hurdles. Pace crossed the line in 17.53.

Milton Holmes placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.49m. Holmes also finished 11th in the 100 meters with a time of 11.75.

Tyler Adams also logged a fifth-place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 41.25m.

Sam Grubbs posted three top-10 finishes. Grubbs placed seventh in the hammer throw (37.65m) and ninth in both the discus throw (29.57m) and shot put (11.12m).

Southwestern will return to action on Friday, March 25, at the McMurry War Hawk Classic in Abilene.
