Alexis Dimanche Earns Highest Individual Ranking in Southwestern Men's Tennis' Program History

TEMPE, Ariz. — Southwestern University Pirates men's tennis player Alexis Dimanche was ranked No. 24 in all of Division III in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Rankings, earning the highest individual ranking in program history. 

"It's great to see all of Alexis' hard work pay off, earning a career-high singles ranking," Head Coach Billy Porter said. "He continues to raise the bar for the program with this being the highest ranking in school history." 

Dimanche was also ranked No. 8 in the West Region. 

The senior from France advanced to the ITA Fall Regional Championship semifinals for the second time in his career, falling in two sets to eventual champion Cameron Krimbill of Trinity University. 

Hunter Bajoit and Hemanshu Rambojun were ranked as the No. 7 doubles team in the region after advancing to the ITA Regional doubles championship match, finishing second in their first year of competition together. 

The Pirates officially begin their team season on Saturday, Feb. 1 in a road match against the SCAC newcomer St. Thomas Celts at 3:00 p.m.
