GEORGETOWN, Texas — Three Southwestern University Pirates remain alive in the A draw of the 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's Regional Championships with one singles and a doubles team headed to the final day of competition.

In their first competition as a doubles' pairing, Hunter Bajoit and Hemanshu Rambojun became the first duo in program history to advance to the ITA Regional A Doubles Championship match after defeating the No. 1 overall seed from Trinity University, Jordan Pitts and Cameron Krimbill.

The victory was the second for the unseeded Bajoit and Rambojun over a seeded Trinity opponent, opening the tournament with a victory over No. 5 Hao Nguyen and Christian Settles. They'll face McMurry University's fifth-seeded Carlos Martinez and Chase Daniell in the Final at noon tomorrow.

In singles, Alexis Dimanche returns to the ITA Regional Semifinals for the first time since his first year, defeating East Texas Baptist's John Herr in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) and surviving a tough match against McMurry's Martinez (6-3, 7-6 (5)). Dimache will face Trinity's Krimbill, a fifth seed, tomorrow at 9 a.m.
