ABILENE, Texas – In their second match of the day, the Southwestern University Pirates men's tennis team defeated Hardin-Simmons University 7-2.
The Pirates were remained undefeated in singles competition, taking five of the six matches in straight sets. In doubles, Jeremey Wilson and Alexander Joseph defeated Joshua Lopez and Christopher Beavers in the third spot but the Hunter Bajoit/Dean Dulthummon and Dimanche/Alonso Fernandez pairings fell 8-4 and 8-5.
Southwestern will play on the road against Concordia Texas on Friday, Feb. 22 at 4:00 p.m.
