Men's and Women's Tyler Invitational Recap

TYLER, Texas. – The Southwestern Pirates men and women's tennis teams wrapped up the UT-Tyler Invitational on Sept. 7 and 8. This year's tournament featured eight teams on both the men's and women's side. Tyler Junior College, UT – Tyler, Northeastern State, Southern Arkansas, Midwestern State, Jacksonville College, Southwestern University, St. Edwards, and Mississippi College all participated.

The Pirates look strong in their preseason matches and will be getting ready for the ITA Regional.  The men's team will play Friday, Sept. 28 at the ITA Regional in Abilene, Texas, while the women's tennis team will play Sept. 21 at the ITA Regional in San Antonio, Texas.
