Men's tennis collects seven wins on first full day of ITA Regional Championships

UPDATED RESULTS

TYLER, Texas – The Southwestern men's tennis squad opened the first full day of the ATA Regional Championships with seven victories, including five in singles play.

Alexis Dimanche led the Pirates with a pair of wins in the A Draw to reach the Round of 16.

Meanwhile, Rod Khansari and David Strong advance in the B Draw, and Nickoloz Snovely remained alive in the A Draw Consolation Bracket.

On the doubles courts, the pairings of Gideon and Snovely and Dimanche and Dean Dulthummon won their opening tilts to reach the Round of 16 in the A Draw.

Bracket play will continue Sunday.
