SAN ANTONIO – Alonso Fernandez and Hunter Snell both captured ITA Southwest Regional singles championships on Sunday. Fernandez won the B Draw, while Snell completed the C Draw unscathed.

Fernandez rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Schreiner's Ben Enriquez, capping a run of five consecutive wins over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Snell also won five straight matches, including a 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (10-7) victory over Austin College's Preston Glasscock to claim the title.

Southwestern will continue its fall season Oct. 2-3, at the Doc Skogman Invitational in Seguin.
