SU men's tennis continues to dominate

With an 8-1 over Colorado College the men's tennis team improved to an impressive 13-2 on the year.

Southwestern set the stage by winning all three doubles matches to kick off the day. Niko Snovely and Grant Gideon won 8-6 at #1, William Ellis and Rod Khansari outlasted Peterson/Delehanty 9-7 at #2 doubles and Sam McCready and Oliver Farmen destroyed Benham/Sherman 8-3 at #3.

SU took that momentum into singles play and won all but one match the entire afternoon. Snovely started things off with a 7-5, 6-4 win at #1 and Farmen followed suit winning 6-4, 6-2 at #3. Grant Gideon found himself in a dog-fight but emerged with the 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 win over Delehanty in #4. Neik Khansari rolled to an easy 6-3, 6-0 win at #5 and David Strong took down Benham 6-3, 6-2 at #6.

Southwestern will close the regular season on the road, facing Southwestern Christiand and Texas A&M-Texarkana in Sherman on Saturday.
