LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – First-year men's tennis standout Niko Snovely earned First Team All-SCAC accolades announced by the league office.
Snovely was joined by Egan Cornachionne who earned Honorable Mention honors for the Southwestern men's tennis team. The duo helped the Pirates finish 8-8 on the season as they rallied through the consolation bracket to claim 5th place at the SCAC Championships.
Snvoely was impressive in his first season posting a 12-1 record exclusively at the No. 1 singles position. He also teamed with Derek Grass to post an 8-5 record at No. 1 doubles and taking single wins with Cornachione and Alex Wong.
Cornachione appeared in the top three positions of the lineup for the Pirates as he finished the season with an 8-6 record.
