Men's Swim and Dive Complete Tiger Invitational
 SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - The Southwestern University men's swim team finished in sixth place in the Tiger Invitational.  

With a final score of 239.5 for the men's team, the Southwestern combined team score for the three-day meet was 680.5, competing with Oklahoma Christian University, Henderson State University, UT of the Permian Basin, Loyola New Orleans and Trinity University.

In the men's 400-yard freestyle relay Southwestern came in fifth place with a time of 3:08.30 with Sam Anderson as the first leg, Keith Gill as second, Caleb Pfiefer as the third and Todd Coachman as the final leg.

Anderson also did well in the 200-yard breaststroke by finishing in fourth place with a time of 2:07.96 with Alek Argueta right behind him to grab fifth place with a time of 2:09.24.

In the men's 1650-yard freestyle, Matt Oevermann finished with a time of 16:59.51 and grabbed an eighth-place for the Pirates.

In other highlights, Carter Duncan(2:02.87) placed 15th in the 200-yard backstroke; Dylan Neumann (1:58.19) placed 12th in the  200-yard butterfly and Keith Gill (47.86) placed 17th in the 100-yard freestyle.

Up next, men's swim will get ready to host a home meet against Carthage College Wisconsin on Wednesday, Dec, 18 at 4 p.m.
