LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Southwestern University first-year Todd Coachman was picked as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Coachman helped the Bucs to a win over Trinity in Saturday's dual-meet at Walzel Natatorium.

The Houston native compiled a pair of victories, as he won both the 100- and 200-yard freestyle events. Coachman also finished third in the 50-yard freestyle during the competition.

The Pirates will continue their season Saturday in Midland, as they take on Texas-Permian Basin and Wayland Baptist. The tri-meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
