LAWERENCEVILLE, Ga. – First-year swimmer Shelby Hall captured the third SCAC Swimmer of the Week honor for the Southwestern men's swimming team announced by the league office for week eight.

Hall helped the Pirate swim and dive team battle NCAA Division I Incarnate Word over the weekend as he took home first place honors in the 200-yard butterfly. The Hoover, Ala., native pushed to a time of 1:57.47 to edge a pair of Cardinal swimmers by more than one second. 

The first-year swimmer also helped the Pirate 200-yard freestyle relay team take home first place honors.

Southwestern continues action this weekend at Walzel Natatorium hosting SCAC opponent Centenary.
