Pirates Continue to Improve With Eyes on Conference

The Pirate Men's swimming team was defeated Saturday against Trinity University despite setting two bests for the year on Senior Day.  The first record for the year was set in the 200 Medley relay by Patrick Flannigan, John Prater, Seth Williams, and Josh Stanfield with a time of 1:43.56.  This beat the previous record by nearly a second.  The next time that set a best for the year was set by first year Seth Williams in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 56.63.  During the meet the Pirates notched 8 top 3 finishes and had strong showings in both relays.  The Pirates will be in action January 28 at the University of the Incarnate Word Invitational at Palo Alto Collego in San Antonio at 6 PM.
