Puget Sound gets revenge on Pirates

TACOMA, Wash. - For the second day in a row the Southwestern men's soccer team was held scoreless, falling to Puget Sound 3-0 on Saturday.

It was a balanced contest in the first half as SU took four shots to Puget Sounds' five, but PSU converted on two of their looks to lead 2-0 at the break.

The two goal lead gave the Loggers all the confidence they needed in the second half as they went into attack mode, taking ten shots and allowing just four in the final frame.

Colin McIntosh added a goal in the 53rd minute to give Puget Sound a 3-0 lead that would last until the final horn sounded.

The loss drops Southwestern to 3-4 on the year while Puget Sound improves to 2-3. Southwestern returns home to open SCAC conference action on Friday, facing Schriener University at 8 p.m.
