Carter Cowan, a junior attacker from Austin, Texas has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 1 through Sunday, April 7.

Cowan led the Pirates to a 2-0 week, including a 24-0 win over SCAC opponent Centenary. Cowan tallied 10 goals during the week and five assists for 15 points in Southwestern's two games.

Against Centenary, Cowan scored six goals and added four assists in the shutout win. He also added seven shots (six on goal) and three ground balls in the win.

Against Huntingdon, Cowan totaled four goals and an assist while tallying eight
shots on goal in a 16-6 non-conference win.

Southwestern is 7-7 on the year and 3-1 in the SCAC. They return to action on Sunday, facing Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
