IRVING, Texas - Southwestern rattled off five unanswered goals in the first half to kick off a dominating 13-2 win over the University of Dallas on Sunday afternoon. The win improves the Pirates to 5-6 on the year and 2-0 in the SCAC.

Long and Cowan teamed up for the first goal just 30 seconds into the frame and Fox and Connor Koper joined forces for a goal two minutes later to push the lead to four. Alex Michael closed the half with a pair of unassisted goals to send SU into the break up six, 6-0.

The streak continued after halftime with unassisted goals from Tyler Downing and Jackson Timian before UD got their first goal of the game with 10:21 to go in the third quarter.
