2012 (Sophomore)
Ayala played in 16 games for the Pirate's this season, starting 15 of them. He scored two goals on 3 shots for a 66.7% shooting percentage. Daniel was fourth on the team in groundballs with 44. Ayala was named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team.
2011 (First-year)
Ayala was a big part of the Pirate defense in his first year at Southwestern. He had one goal and one assist for two points and took four shots on the season. Ayala was second on the team with 49 groundballs.
High School
Daniel earned varsity letters in lacrosse, football, and track during his high school career. He was named athletic and academic All State in football and was an All State defender for the lacrosse team.

Daniel is the son of Daniel and Nancy and has one sibling, Ember. Daniel is currently undecided as to his major at SU.
