Men's Golf Finishes Second at ASC Conference Preview

KERRVILLE, Texas – The Southwestern University golf team finished second at the ASC Conference Preview, shooting a 293 and 290 in two rounds to finish behind Concordia University at 577-583.

Cade Osgood paced the Pirates, scoring a 72 in the first round and 70 in the second for a 142, tying Seger Howell of Concordia for second overall at two below par. Sutherland Stith finished tied for seventh with a score of 146.

Devon Horne rounded out the Southwestern players who finished in the top 10, tying six others for ninth with a score of 147 at three over par. Matthew Christl and John Kellum tied for 16th at 149 to wrap up the Pirates' five.

Southwestern University will compete in the SCAC Championships from Monday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 23 at the Vaaler Creek Golf Course in Blanco, Texas.
