LAWRENCEVILLE, Georgia - Southwestern Pirate Sutherland Stith, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through September 25th.
Stith finished just outside the top-five in a four-way tie for sixth to lead the Pirates at the Rhodes College Fall Classic, played at the par-72, 7,111-yard Tunica National Course in Tunica, Miss. Stith opened the event with a two-over par 74 before closing out the tournament seven-under par over the final 36-holes including a blistering six-under round of 66 on day two to finish at five-under par 211 on the week. As a team, the Pirates fifth after carding a 54-hole score of 868 (298-281-289).
