LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sophomore Matthew Christl was named SCAC Golfer of the Week after terrific performance this past weekend at the Royal Lake Invitational in Flowery Branch, Ga.

Christl placed ninth at the even after shooting a 71 (-1) on Sunday for a two-round score of 143 (-1) including an eagle on 18. His performance was good enough to place the Pirates 11th in a loaded field.

Southwestern will prep for their final fall even to fthe season on October 23rd as they head to Diamondback Golf Club for the Abilene Intercollegiate.
