Cowart, Stith garner Division III PING All-Region honors

Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the GCAA. Players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2015 including Southwestern University's Jordan Cowart and Sutherland Stith.

Cowart has five top ten finishes this seaosn and is shooting an average score of 74.65 in nine tournaments. He has four top five finishes against region opponents including a first place regional finish at the Gordin Classic. 

Stith was named the SCAC Newcomer of the Year at the SCAC Championships and is shooting an average score of 75.65 in eight tournaments. He posted four top 10 finishes this year and five top 10 in-region finishes. 

The Pirates made their third consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship this week and sit tied for 19th place after the first round.
