Kenneth Eboh is in his ninth season as an assistant coach for the Pirates football team, joining the inaugural staff in 2013 after coming over from Hanover College with head coach Joe Austin. Eboh is the Pirates’ defensive ends coach and served as the recruiting coordinator from 2013-2019. He is also entering his first season as the head coach of the Southwestern men’s and women’s track and field teams after serving as interim head coach last season.

Over eight seasons, Eboh has helped the Pirates recruit players who have accounted for 88 all-conference selections in the SCAC and ASC, five Player of the Year awards, and two All-Americans.

As defensive ends coach, Eboh was instrumental in the recruitment and development of Justin Broussard, a four-time All-SCAC selection and the modern program’s first All-American (2016); first-team All-SCAC Brandon Fleischmann; and 2018 team defensive MVP Garrett Womack, who was also the 2019 ASC sack leader.

In Eboh’s time at Hanover, he played a big role in turning around the Panthers’ football program, serving different stints coaching running backs, offensive line, and defensive line. He also served as the team’s academic success coordinator, helping the team improve its GPA to exceed the overall student body’s. He was also the throwing coach for the track and field teams, overseeing five new school records and back-to-back conference championships.

Eboh began his coaching career with Austin at the University of Dubuque as running backs coach and assistant to the athletic director. In college, Eboh played at NCAA Division II powerhouse Northwest Missouri State University, helping the Bearcats win a national championship in 1999 and four conference championships during his tenure. He graduated in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in interactive digital media with a concentration in visual imaging. He obtained a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University–Irvine.
