GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern University Head Football Coach Joe Austin announced the program's 2018 schedule at the sixth annual Kickoff Luncheon on Wednesday afternoon at the Georgetown Community Center.
The Pirates will play 10 games next season, including nine American Southwest Conference (ASC) contests. SU also will host five games at Birkelbach Field.

Southwestern will kick off its season with a home game against Denison. The Pirates and Big Red will open the season under the lights on September 1.
Austin's squad then will hit the road to open ASC action, facing McMurry in Abilene on September 8th and East Texas Baptist in Marshall on September 15th before returning home to take on Lousiana College. SU will close September in Belton to face defending conference-champions and national finalists, Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Homecoming is slated for October 27th as the Pirates battle Hardin-Simmons University at 1 pm.
