Fierst Takes Homes ASC Special Teams Player of the Week

RICHARDSON, Texas - Southwestern University sophomore kicker Luke Fierst hit the game-winning field goal of 36 yards with 42 seconds to play in the Pirates' 37-34 win at Louisiana College. He went 3-for-4 on field goal attempts, connecting for 20 yards and 19 yards as well, and was 4-for-4 on PATs.

Southwestern will return home next Saturday night as they prepare to welcome in the No. 1 team in the nation in Mary Hardin-Baylor. Kickoff is set for 6 PM from Birkelbach Field at Georgetown ISD.
