As we head toward the Southwestern University football season opener on Sept. 5, at Hardin-Simmons, we will preview the squad, by position. Today, we find out more about the quarterbacks with head coach Joe Austin.

Aug. 31 – Wide receivers/tight ends
Sept. 1 – Defensive backs
Sept. 2 – Special teams
Sept. 3 – Quarterbacks

Bryan Hicks returns and is expected to start on Saturday at quarterback for the Pirates. Behind him, Jeremy Snyder also returns with experience as the signal caller.
