Historical 1948 Football Program Donated to Special Collections

As SU prepares to relaunch our football program this fall, alum and Admission & Recruitment Coordinator Will Molidor recently donated a program from the October, 2nd 1948 game against Daniel Baker College (now Howard Payne University). The program includes the lineups and rosters for both teams, as well as lots of great period advertising. 

Southwestern football returns to the field for their first game on September 7th as they face Texas Lutheran University at 7 p.m. Season tickets can be purchased by visiting http://www.southwesternpirates.com/information/tickets/football2013.

More information on the history of Southwestern University football is available in Special Collections. Special Collections is currently open from 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
