IRVING, Texas – Southwestern won their fourth straight to lock up the #3 seed in the SCAC Championship, defeating the University of Dallas 78-70 Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pirates trailed by two at halftime despite shooting 50% from three point range and 43.3% from the floor.
- SU opened the second half on a 12-0 run to lead by ten, 50-40 with 17:18 remaining.
- Dallas regained the lead briefly with 5:15 remaining, but Ryan Odgen's three put Southwestern up 2, 67-65, with 4:28 remaining.
