    SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named 1,037 student-athletes to the 2012 SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday. This year's total is the third-highest for a single period in the history of the award.

    GEORGETOWN, Texas - Thanks to the generous donations of parents, alumni and students in the Pirate Crew, Southwestern University's Booster Club, the Athletic Department was able to continue the tradition of awarding watches to senior athletes whom had completed eligibility while at SU. This is the third year for the ceremony.

    Thanks to generous donations and various fundraising events throughout the years the Southwestern University Athletic Department unveiled their newly remodeled athletic training facility this fall. The updates include an expanded treatment area, additional taping/treatment tables, custom paint (with logos still to come), a flat-screen television, new computers and new countertops.
