The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) released its 2019 NCAA DIII All-Region Teams, naming three members of the Southwestern University Pirates baseball team to the All-West teams.
Third baseman Daniel Montgomery Jr. and pitcher Austin Smith earned West All-Region Second Team honors and designated hitter Byron Dowdell II earned Third Team honors.
All three were also listed on the D3Baseball.com All-Region teams with Montgomery earning All-America Second Team honors. The ABCA All-America teams will be released on May 30.
