MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Freshman infielder Seth Sparks was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week after an outstanding opening weekend in his very first collegiate outing for the Southwestern University baseball team.

Sparks went an impressive 7-for-11 (.636) from the plate through three games. He posted a .818 slugging percentage with two doubles two runs scored and two RBIs.

The Pirates are back in action this weekend as they welcome in the Trinity Tigers for a non-conference series beginning Friday at 6 PM
