GREENSBORO, N.C. - Southwestern University senior Ben Little was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-West Region Second Team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Little, a utilityman from Bellaire, also was an honorable mention All-SCAC selection last month. He led the Pirates with a .364 batting average (64 for 176) with eight doubles, seven triples, four home runs and 32 RBIs. Little also slugged .557, scored 33 runs and stole seven bases.

Southwestern completed the 2017 campaign with a 21-21 overall record and qualified for the SCAC Championship under fifth-year head coach R.J. Thomas.
